Bingo lingo refers to the terms used during chat and at on-line bingo clubs across the internet as well as clubs in the high street. There maybe some variations on Bingo Lingo but it easy to pick up and soon you will find yourself using some of these terms. We have added a glossary of the most widely used bingo lingo terms. Any clubs chat moderator will assist you if you do not understand as will any of the roomies (people in chat room). The reason for this bingo lingo is because the chat rooms are relatively small having only a small area for chat conversations if you typed long sentences they sometimes get lost in chat especially when the room is busy. It is worth familiarizing yourself with some frequently used terms. Bingo lingo is similar to text chat we all use on our mobiles only this has been extended for chat rooms. Such as 3tg three numbers to go, 2tg two numbers to go, 1tg one number to go, WDW well done winner, GL good luck and WTG way to go.

You all would have heard these terms used in bingo halls across the country and many of the number lingo’s are based on the cockney rhyming slang. Some have meanings behind them but generally it is just a representation of the number. So Kelly’s eye refers to a solider who only had one eye. The number two looks like a swans neck hence the number two being refer to as one little duck and twenty two being two little ducks.
These are just a few but we hope this helps you to understand a little of the bingo lingo around.
